Data Deletion
Last updated 18 July 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your data from Hamerion, including any data we received through a connected messaging channel such as WhatsApp. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Who controls your data
When a business uses Hamerion to talk to its customers, that business decides what data is sent to us and why. In that case the business controls the data and Hamerion processes it on their behalf. This affects who your request goes to:
- If you are an end-customer who messaged a business (for example over WhatsApp), the business controls your data. You can contact that business directly, or contact us using the steps below and we will pass your request to them and help them action it.
- If you are a business or account holder, you can ask us to delete your account data at any time.
How to request deletion
- Email us at admin@hamerion.com with the subject line “Data deletion request”.
- Tell us who you are and, if you are an end-customer, the phone number or contact identifier you used and the business you were messaging, so we can locate your data.
- We may ask a question or two to verify the request comes from you (or from the business that controls the data), so that we do not delete the wrong person's information.
What happens next
Once we have what we need to verify and locate your data, we will delete it, or instruct the controlling business to do so, and confirm to you by email. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. Some information may be retained where we are legally required to keep it; if so, we will tell you what and why.
